The article I chose was about a zoologist who became an artist, the article title is  Art Versus Science? Using Both for Conservation.  it was a about a women named Lindy Rodwell van Hasselt who became an artist to advocate for wildlife conservation. I could use this article to show how people believe that art can make a difference and show people the beauty in the world. When you see the worlds beauty then you want to do whatever you can to help save it.

To help correlate this article and finding the beauty in nature I chose to use Tehyas podcast and Cameron and Shilohs podcast. I believe that the people they interviewed have a strong connection with nature and can truly appreciate the natural beauty that the world has to offer. I think a key piece in beauty is capturing an authentic moment in time and those are the words that Tehyas aunt uses to describe her encounter with beauty. I believe that both these podcasts will help strengthen my essay and help show how beauty can make an impact on the things that people do.

I also agree that nature has an astonishing amount of beauty. It is amazing what is created and changed in nature with the world that we live in today. I am also using Tehya’s podcast because who she interviewed had a good sense of humor and judgment on what she found beautiful.

I love this article! It sounds like it was written very well and by someone who would have such an interesting and fresh perspective on beauty. It’s going to be very interesting to read your paper and see your views and perspective on nature and beauty. The podcasts you chose to work with for your paper are wonderful and work great with your topic! Another podcast I would consider using is mine (I know we haven’t listened to it yet.) my interviewee talks about the beauty of Maine and I think it could work well with your paper.

I really like your stance and how you want to defend natural beauty and beauty in nature. I totally agree with this statement because I always try and look at beautiful sunsets and since I am on the coast of Maine, I see a lot of beauty with the ocean. In the summer time i am near the water 24/7 working on a boat or just enjoying views from restaurants or joy rides with friends. I feel like the two podcasts will be perfect to intertwine with your essay. I am looking forward to reading it and see how your connect it all!
